Kara can't believe she's doing this.
It shouldn't be that big a deal. She's a fully grown woman, bringing a guy back to her apartment shouldn't be that big a deal. She's not even bringing him for that. She just thought it would be nice to have someone to talk to for a while- someone who understands the nature of dual lives, understands what it's like to live under someone else's shadow.
So when one of Batman's 'wards' (creepy, by the way) comes to National City, she jumps on the opportunity to meet with him. She feels like they've hit it off- but there's only so much you can talk about in a coffee shop, so, she offers for him to come back home with her to talk more.
It's only as she's unlocking her door that she realizes exactly how it looks, and sounds. No going back now- so, she leads him in anyway. "Uh, right-- where were we?"
